Add Your Business to Google Maps?

How Do You Add Your Business to Google Maps?

The Google Maps function, formerly known as Google Places, is now part of the Google My Business dashboard – Google’s dashboard for managing and tracking your online presence across Google’s various platforms including Google Local (Google Maps), Google+, Google Analytics and Adwords.
As you’re preparing to set up your listing, just a reminder – although Google will, in some situations, display businesses from surrounding communities in the “Local” search results (Maps), you are only allowed to register your business in the town or city in which you have a physical address.

Adding or Claiming Your Business on Google My Business

1. Go to Google My Business.

Click “Get on Google” - Google My Business - Start Now Button

2. Enter Your Business Name and Address in the Search Box.

3. Select or Add Your Business.

Click on your business listing if it appears among the suggested matches. If not select “Add your Business”, and provide the necessary information.
  • Add Your Business to Google My Business
  • Category Selection- The category selection is very important as it is essentially the way Google will classify your business, and the type of search query it will display your listing for.
  • Submit your list

4. Verify Your Business

Google will want to verify that your business is located where you say that it is. This usually means waiting 1-2 weeks for a postcard with a verification PIN.

Verify Google My Business

Occasionally you’ll be given the option to receive your PIN by text message or or automated phone call – take it – it’s much faster and easier!
TIP: If you do have to wait on a postcard, remind anyone that handles the mail to be on the lookout for Google Verification Postcard it, then try to verify it as soon as you get it (you have 30 days). You’d be surprised how often businesses have to go through the verification process 2 or 3 times because someone threw the postcard away or forgot to use it once they received it.

5. Confirm your Business. Set up a Google+ Page.

Setting up your Google My Business page is the first step in Local Search Optimization, and should be a high priority for all businesses hoping to be found online.

If you not to understand the process you contact Digital Marketing Company for this work. they help to verify your business on Google Map.

Why Small Business Needs Digital Marketing?

Why Small Business Needs Digital Marketing?

Why do small business need digital marketing is a question we regularly get asked. Customer expectations have changed and almost everyone has access to and regularly uses the Internet. Most of us, when we hear of a business for the first time immediately look for a website or social media profile where we can find out more information. We don’t call into the store, or phone the company, instead we look it up and if you cannot find any evidence of the company online, chances are you will try somewhere that has a social presence. Small business - with limited marketing budgets – are competing with national and international brands when it comes to marketing. In this ever-growing digital era, small businesses have no other options but to compete with corporations that have much larger marketing budgets. The online attribute required of companies demands that small business compete on a larger scale.
Everywhere you look today people are increasingly preoccupied with technology. Every business needs an online strategy to thrive today. But, unfortunately, most small business owners don’t have one.

Gain Exposure through Quality Content
Creating great content is the best way to create a viral effect. You can do this by posting great images, funny videos, memes or writing interesting, compelling blog posts. This is how you differentiate yourself from competitors – have your personality shine through. The more content you produce, the more exposure you will get. And for small businesses, creating content is an extremely inexpensive way of marketing.

Direction
Companies without a digital strategy generally don’t have clear strategy goals for what they want to achieve online in terms of gaining new customers or building relationships with existing customers. And without a clear objective, you likely won’t put enough resources into reaching the goals and won’t be evaluating analytics. All of which can have massive impacts on your digital marketing efforts.

Cost Effective
Digital marketing is more cost-effective than traditional marketing. This is especially important for small businesses as they don’t have many resources or capital. New media can provide you with a cheaper and more effective advertising channel.

Higher ROI
By increasing your digital outreach you can potentially increase your revenue. The more exposure you can gain for your brand, the more leads you will generate. The more data you can extract from your outreach campaigns, the higher your ROI will be.

Get Ahead of Your Competition
Most businesses have already traded traditional advertising methods and are focusing on Google Adwords, SEO or Social Media. With so many competitors out there it is very difficult to market your small business and get ahead of the pack. Monitor what is working for you, what your current and potential customers are engaging with. Once you know what’s working for you, repeat.

We hope the above tips are helpful when you are thinking about your marketing strategy over the coming weeks and months. Thank you for taking the time to read our blog.

Benefits of Digital Marketing

Benefits of Digital Marketing
Our Company is a passionate and result oriented digital marketing company that help your business to grow and reach out to the right people. Digital marketing allows marketers to see accurate results in real time. If you’ve ever put an advert in a newspaper, you’ll know how difficult it is to estimate how many people actually flipped to that page and paid attention to your ad.

Why Digital Marketing?

Website Traffic

With digital marketing, you can see the exact number of people who have viewed your website’s homepage in real time by using digital analytics. You can also see how many pages they visited, what device they were using, and where they came from, amongst other digital analytics data.
With offline marketing, it’s very difficult to tell how people are interacting with your brand before they have an interaction with a salesperson or make a purchase. With digital marketing, you can identify trends and patterns in people’s behavior before they’ve reached the final stage in their buyer’s journey, meaning you can make more informed decisions about how to attract them to your website right at the top of the marketing funnel.

Content Performance and Lead Generation

Imagine you’ve created a product brochure and posted it through people’s letterboxes -- that brochure is a form of content, albeit offline. The problem is that you have no idea how many people opened your brochure or how many people threw it straight into the trash. Now imagine you had that brochure on your website instead. You can measure exactly how many people viewed the page where it’s hosted, and you can collect the contact details of those who download it by using forms. Not only can you measure how many people are engaging with your content, but you’re also generating qualified leads when people download it.

Attribution Modeling

An effective digital marketing strategy combined with the right tools and technologies allows you to trace all of your sales back to a customer’s first digital touchpoint with your business. We call this attribution modeling, and it allows you to identify trends in the way people research and buy your product, helping you to make more informed decisions about what parts of your marketing strategy deserve more attention, and what parts of your sales cycle need refining.
